Soaking & Revival Night 23 April 2021

What does it look like to lose yourself in worship?

To be enamoured in the sweet beautiful Presence of God and to realise how everything before this or after this fades in comparison of knowing how marvellous, how holy, how glorious, how magnificent God is?

And to come into that consciousness that we are His and He is our God. And that only in our union with God are we truly whole, truly satisfied and truly alive!

Welcome to our Soaking & Revival Night, the very thing that brought us to together in the first place and how Soakability was born. We love God’s presence, we want to give Him our unhurried time of worship and adoration. “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18

Soaking & Revival Night
Date: 23 April 2021 Friday 7:30-9:30pm

Stronger Together

God has created each of us uniquely. In this entire world, there is only one you. No one else is exactly like you, nor can he or she have exactly what you have. No one can do exactly or have what you do and have. You carry within you specific gifts, skills, strengths, experiences and expertise that is unique to you.

Yet no one is an island. No matter how gifted, experienced or wise you are, there will be certain things that others can do better than you. Likewise, there are certain things no one can do as well as you.

Your strength is my weakness and my strength is your weakness. That’s why we need each other and as Pastor Jeff often quotes: let’s not compete but let’s complete each other.

In John 17:20-23, Jesus prayed that all believers, throughout all time, would demonstrate a supernatural unity. And, He stressed that this unity would amaze the world:

The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind—
Just as you, Father, are in me and I in you,
So they might be one heart and mind with us….
Then they’ll be mature in this oneness,
And give the godless world evidence
That you’ve sent me and loved them
In the same way you’ve loved me. (MSG)

Unity in the body of Christ testifies to the unity and strength of God’s eternal Three-In-Oneness. God is One. When we are united in the church, we demonstrate the unity and hence the strength of the message of the gospel. If we are divided, we tell the world that the message of salvation in Jesus Christ is subject to amendment and/or discontinuity.
Hence Jesus prayed for believers to have one-ness. Together, we are stronger.

Kingdom Trailblazers

A trailblazer is someone who is the first to do something; a pioneer; somebody who’s willing to take risks and go in a path that isn’t already there. They blaze a trail and leave a path for others.

A trailblazer can also be someone who is mission-driven and focused on helping people. When we look at Trailblazers throughout history, they have been people who wanted to push the envelope and make a better world for everybody else.

Believe it or not, God has created us with the capacity and calling to be His trailblazers.  Jesus said  “You are the salt of the earth and light of the world” (Matt 5:13-14) to his disciples and also to the crowd at the Sermon on the Mount. This declaration also applies to us today as we follow Jesus.

Salt is not meant to be kept unused and light is not meant to be hidden unseen. As salt and light, you and I are called to add value and impact the world in powerful and meaningful ways. We are called to be trendsetters and trailblazers of society, world shakers and history-makers of our generation

Join us in this exciting new series on Soak Living Room, as our beloved Soakability pastors discuss about God’s desire to make His children the thought leaders of their field and go-to persons of their industries.

God wants to deposit divine downloads into your spirit  and for you to birth forth new songs, new ideas, new inventions, new businesses, new technologies that the world has yet to hear and yet to see.

Will you be God’s Kingdom Trailblazer?

Kingdom Values

Behind the signs and wonders that we see in the lives and legacy of every revivalist are actually the Kingdom values that they live out and act upon.
These values are the backbone of every church and individual who desire to move in God’s miraculous power. When we embrace these values, we are also carrying God’s heart for humanity.
Kingdom values will always shape our character to steward the power of God within us.
Come join us as we dive into the DNA of Soakability: who we are, what we stand for, the values that shape us and where God is leading us corporately as a church and as a community seeking to ignite revival globally!

Living Life Without Limitations

Have you ever had any of these thoughts run in your head?

“I’m too old to learn anything new.”
“I’m too young for anyone to take me seriously.”
“I can never make enough money to get out of my debt.”
“I can never recover from my sickness.”
“I don’t have what it takes to pursue my dreams.”
Many times, we have unconsciously set limitations in our hearts on what we can have, what we can achieve and who we can become. But that is not how the Bible teaches us to live. Ephesians 3:20 says that “He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” And Luke 1:37 says that “For with God, nothing is impossible.” And as Adidas so cleverly reworded it in their slogan, “Impossible is nothing.”
Limiting beliefs are nothing more than lies planted by the enemy that we have allowed to overgrow like weeds and take over the potential and hope within us.
It’s time to break free of every chain and every limiting belief! We were made to live a life of endless possibilities in Christ, not an existance of cynicism, limitations and regrets. Life in God is where the impossible is possible!
Join us for this new sermon series “Living Life Without Limitations” in our Saturday Soakability Service!
Dates: 6, 20, 27 Feb Saturday 7:00pm

** Note: There is no Soakability Service on 13 Feb 2021, as it is a public holiday and second day of Chinese New Year.

Activating the Power Gifts

The Bible shows us  what moving in the power of God looks like and how we are to also do so today!
We can see in Acts 10:38 “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all, who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”
In John 14:12, Jesus tells his disciples, “he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also’ and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”

Yet many Christians today feel defeated and live in fear and oppression because of deception and misplaced focus amongst other things. But you and I have not been given the spirit of fear, but the Spirit of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We are called to live as Jesus lived, and we carry His Spirit of power to break the oppression of the enemy and to move in realm of the miraculous.
In this series, “Activating the Power Gifts,” we will:
♦ Explore from the Word of God what are the power gifts and how to move in the power of the Holy Spirit.
♦ Explain the distinctions between the power gifts and the prophetic gifts,
♦ Examine the practical ways of tapping into the power of God within you (Eph 3:20) to move in the realm of the miraculous.
