About the Speakers
Dan and Debbie Ecker are the President and Vice President of Firstlight International. As graduates of a church related Bible school in Western PA, their experience spans more than 30 years, ministering in 25 nations on 5 continents. Dan and Debbie received their ordination into the gospel ministry in 1988. Since then they have been focusing on the people of Southeast Asia, in particular, Thailand and the nations surrounding it. In 1999, they moved with their son, Josiah to northern Thailand, where they have been living and working for more than 15 years. They learned the language and the culture of the people here and have been involved in many kinds of ministry.
As an evangelistic and training ministry, Firstlight International is committed to helping churches and ministries bring fulfillment to the great commission particularly in the nations of Southeast Asia. Over the past fifteen years as a servant to the national church, Firstlight International has been effective in pursuing its purposes in six countries in the region of Southeast Asia.
