Encountering God Through His Names

“And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.” Psalm 9:10

Each name that God reveals Himself in will show us that aspect of His nature and power, as well as the identity and inheritance that we have in God. The better God is known the more He is trusted, because we would know how truly victorious, abundant and glorious it is that we are called Sons of God and we know God by name!

With Tammy Teh Yuen and Chong Ching Ching

Date: 18 August 2020 Tuesday 7:30pm SGT
Soakability Church Facebook Live

In the upcoming Ravah Conversations, we will talk about the breakthroughs that God has revealed to us, examine some Scripture, share our heart as women and strengthen one another in the Lord. The Holy Spirit always has some powerful things to reveal to us, so see you this Tuesday!

Ravah רָוָה in Hebrew means to refresh, satiate, satisfy, have or drink one’s fill.

Why Ravah Conversations?

Ching Ching and I were having a deep conversation and prayer time together and at the end of it, we were so wow-ed by how God came and met our needs in such a deep, satisfying and powerful way! And after that I happened to read Jeremiah 31:25 and there it was again! Ravah. There is a longing in every one of us and when we allow God to fill us to fullness, we realise that only in Him can we find that true and utter satisfaction in our souls and life!

We decided to hold these online Ravah Conversations at least once a month and take time to find that refreshment through conversation, Scripture and prayer. Get your cup of aromatic tea, Bible and comfortable chair and see you then!

Power and Authority – August 2020

The moment you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, God gave you AUTHORITY through the name of Jesus. And God gave us the Holy Spirit, that we may received His POWER.

“All AUTHORITY has been given to you, now go in my AUTHORITY and make disciples of all nations.” – Matthew 28:18

“I promise you this, the Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will be filled with POWER” Acts 1:8

Jesus demonstrated in His life how to move with Power and Authority of God. And Jesus imparted all power and authority, first to His disciples and then to the church in Acts 2. We have all the power and authority of God through the Holy Spirit, yet many of us are not yet seeing and doing the same mighty miracles that Jesus did or the even greater miracles than these, like what was said in John 14.

The keys to living up to this truth may include and is not limited to understanding this incredible Power of God, the mighty Authority of God, the significance of what we have been rescued from and the glory of what we have inherited, when we became born again into the Kingdom.

Join us for this important topic in the month of August 2020, with lessons and life examples shared by Ps Jeff Yuen, Ps Patrick Loh and Ps Clement Sim in Soak Living Room.

Ravah רָוָה in Hebrew means to refresh, satiate, satisfy, have or drink one’s fill.

Why Ravah Conversations?

Recently Ching Ching and I were having a deep conversation and prayer time together and at the end of it, we were so wow-ed by how God came and met our needs in such a deep, satisfying and powerful way! And after that I happened to read Jeremiah 31:25 and there it was again! Ravah. There is a longing in every one of us and when we allow God to fill us to fullness, we realise that only in Him can we find that true and utter satisfaction in our souls and life!

We also talked about the battlefield in our mind that we wrestle with, daily, hourly even and this is not uncommon to many of our sisters. In the upcoming Ravah Conversations, we want to talk about the breakthroughs that God has revealed to us, examine some Scripture, share our heart as women and also pray for those online with us. Let’s see how it goes when Holy Spirit is with us in the conversation!

See you on Tuesday, we are excited!

Love,
